Why it matters
Statistics suggest that around 1 in 2 of us will be affected by cancer in our lifetime.
Yet many people with a cancer diagnosis have been told they cannot access massage, beauty treatments, spa therapies or physiotherapy because of a long-standing myth:
“Massage spreads cancer.”

The role of touch in cancer care
A cancer diagnosis can be life-altering. It often brings emotional overwhelm, physical exhaustion and a sense of isolation. Many people find that even close friends and family members hesitate to offer physical contact, worrying about causing harm or unsure what is safe.

Oncology massage offers gentle, intentional human touch, and may help to:

  • Ease pain, fatigue or anxiety

  • Reduce feelings of isolation

  • Support rest and relaxation

  • Create a short escape from the emotional toll of illness

  • Reconnect body and mind

  • Honour where someone is in their journey

Each treatment is adapted to your needs — physically, emotionally and energetically.

My approach
Treatments are specifically adapted for people:

  • Undergoing chemotherapy or radiotherapy

  • Living with or beyond cancer

  • In remission or receiving palliative care

  • At any stage of diagnosis or recovery

The aim is to create a calm, supportive space where your experience is respected and honoured. You remain in control of how the session goes, and everything is adjusted to suit how you are feeling on the day.

Duration and booking
Your current health and stage of treatment will help guide how long your session is. This will be discussed together at the start of your appointment.

A final note
Oncology massage is still not widely known, and relatively few practitioners are fully trained in it. Yet for many people, it can make a meaningful difference. Whether you are seeking comfort, some relief, or simply space to feel cared for, you are very welcome here.
