What makes Nicola Louise Osteopathy different

This is not a relaxation or beauty-based treatment.

Treatment is delivered using clinically recognised techniques and may involve assessment, ongoing management, and additional interventions such as measurement, compression therapy, and long-term management strategies where appropriate.

As both a registered osteopath and a DLT-trained practitioner, I take a whole-body approach. Effective lymphatic drainage depends not only on fluid movement, but also on breathing, joint mobility, and posture—helping to achieve more effective and sustainable results.

Post-operative support

MLD is commonly used following surgery to support healing, reduce swelling, and improve comfort.

Lymphoedema & lipoedema support

Lymphoedema and lipoedema are long-term conditions that may require ongoing management.
Treatment may form part of a wider approach including:
- Manual lymphatic drainage

Support is tailored to help manage symptoms, improve comfort, and maintain function over time.

Compression Measurement & Prescription Support | 30-45 minutes | £50
For patients requiring professional measurement for medical-grade compression garments. This clinical appointment includes precise anatomical measuring, selection of the appropriate compression class, and the administrative submission of your requirements to Patient Choice or your GP.
Note: This is a measurement and administrative service only and does not include MLD treatment. It is designed to ensure your garments are medically safe, effective, and correctly fitted to your unique limb volume
GP / Medical Letters | £25
The Intensive Reduction Phase (DLT)

When maintenance treatment is no longer sufficient, care may move into an intensive phase aimed at reducing limb volume and improving tissue health.
This may include:
- Clinical measurement to monitor progress
- Multi-layer compression bandaging (MCB)
- Ongoing assessment and management
